Where crystallization, dust, dirt or product build-up may reduce visibility, an optional sight glass wiper can be used to clean the internal surface of the glass during operation. 

ARAMAK Tank Sight View is an industrial sight glass assembly designed to provide safe and direct visual observation of the inside of process vessels and equipment.

Depending on project requirements, the assembly can be supplied in welded or flanged configurations and may consist of a weld pad or base flange, sight glass disc, sealing gaskets, cover flange and bolting. In DIN 28120 weld-on designs, the sight glass disc is installed between the weld pad and the cover flange, providing a compact assembly suitable for welding directly onto the vessel wall.

For services where product deposits, dust or crystallization may accumulate on the internal glass surface, the sight glass can be equipped with an optional internal wiper system to maintain clear visibility during operation.

Optional illumination can also be installed to improve visibility inside the vessel. For hazardous locations, explosion-proof luminaires can be supplied. The referenced Ex luminaire is rated Ex db IIC T6 Gb / Ex tb IIIC T80°C Db with IP65/IP67 protection.

Final selection of nominal size, material, glass type, gasket, pressure rating and temperature rating is made according to the specific process conditions and project requirements.
